2. Put Ruby or Sapphire into the bottom slot. (GBA)
3. Turn the DS on.
4. When you get to the menu screen, there will be a "Migrate" option available so select that then you'll be taken into either Ruby or Sapphire's PC.
5. Select the 6 Pokemon in the PC that you want to migrate into Diamond or Pearl.
6. You'll be prompted to confirm your selections a few times and you will be warned that doing this is a transfer meaning you can't send these Pokemon back once you have migrated them.
7. Once that's done, select "Continue" on the menu and go into your Diamond or Pearl game.
8. Head to Pal Park and talk to the person there.
9. then you just run around the Pal Park and try to find the ones that you migrated. Once you do, just throw a Park Ball at it and it's caught.
Here's a few more warnings for you however.
You can't migrate Pokemon that are in your party. They MUST be in your PC.
You can't migrate Pokemon if they know a HM move such as Surf.
You can't migrate Pokemon if they have mail attached to them.
Also - in order to get the National Dex, all you have to do is see all Pokemon in the Sinnoh Dex excluding Manaphy then go see Rowan oak will be there and give you the national Dex.
That's called migrating or transferring, you can't really trade Pokemon from GBA to DS, only migrate/transfer. And no they can't be sent back once they go to the DS game. All Pokemon games have the ability to transfer Pokemon, with the exception of 1st and 2nd Gen Pokemon games to the 3rd Gen. But 1st and 2nd Gen you were able to trade but that's about it.
You can migrate from GBA games to DS games. You need a DS original or DS lite. You need to go to pal park. It cannot be used though until you have beaten the game.
