Clearly he is anti-American and his policies are idiotic at best. His promise to pull out of Iraq will cause millions to die and embolden the terrorists to attack us. We will eventually have to stop running and fight again but this time it will be much worse because B.O. will decimate our Military.
And he promises to raise ALL of our taxes on top of a faltering economy that will cause many to starve and lose their homes.
We are a great nation and the best that has ever been but can we survive 4 years with B.O. running us into the ground?
Update:Buffeean: There are no terrorists in Iraq? Are you really that stupid? I was there and I know they are there! I had many of my friends killed by them and I had my leg blown off by an IED they placed so don't try and post your utter stupidity that there are no terrorists in Iraq! I know for a fact they are there. Open your eyes and quit listening to your handlers.
I may not agree with why we went into Iraq but we can't just turn tail and run like B.O. wants to do. That WILL embolden the terrorists. That is a fact! BJ Clinton emboldened them in Somalia when he botched that deal. He also botched it when he had the chance to take osama bin laden into custody and told them he wasn't interested. He emboldened them when he did NOTHING when the USS Cole was attacked. Had he not made the idiotic decision to have our men NOT be armed on the ship, they could have stopped the attack.
WAKE UP!!!

It scares the hell out of me... Not Obama but the number of people that have swallowed his rhetoric about "change" hook line and sinker. Wake up America !!!!!! Another great speaker of all times was none other than Adolph Hitler. One difference, Hitler's change was to build a superior nation. Obama's change is to destroy a superior nation. (Economically, militarily and moraliy) I threw in Moral due to his association with the Trinity Church in Chicago. Not only that, if it took him 20+ years to hear what was said in those sermons, what makes you think he is going to hear the AMERICAN people??????????
I'm pretty undecided about this, but I wouldn't call him clearly anti-American. I don't see any sign that our military would be decimated, and I don't consider the Iraq policy to be a success. Millions? Hmmm.
As for the taxes, there's no political will by the government or population for a massive tax hike. Congress would never pass it.
No matter what happens, the Republic will survive. I have friends that are counting the days until Bush leaves and the nation can exhale, so it's all a matter of your point of view.
Looks like we are going to find out. The average American is so disgruntled with the GoP leadership after the last 7 years, that any Democrat could gain the white house. They will forgive any misgivings and faults of Obama, because he doesn't need to be great. When your a maiden at the ball, and the only competition is a hag in the corner, you don't need to worry about getting a dance.
I worry about that. We are already weakened by Bush and economically we are on our knees. He wants to send our money to Africa. He is inexperienced. He is un-American. No one seems to wonder about how he went from being an unknown State Senator on year to being a US Senator the next with the largest campaign war chest ever amassed. This was done when he was still very unknown and long before his small contributions started rolling in. The Chicago Machine took care of his opponent for the US Senate so that he ran virtually unopposed. Why did he become such a media darling? It is because of his unknown backers. People should be aware of his background, yet they don't care.

What about the thousands that have already died? We have no business being in a country that doesn't want us there. Why not use all that wated money right here where it belongs for things like, oh I don't know, homeless Americans, unemployment, and financial helps for those who desperately need it.
It's obvious that you are not being affected by the horrible economy, your lucky. Now think about the war in Iraq once you've lost your job, house, and dignity!
No, we are all going to die. Of course HC and JM are not any different... these are the same greedy jackasses that Americans just keep voting for over and over.
Ron Paul might do some good. He is the best out of a large crowd of baffled idiots.
I think you're going a little overboard. I don't agree with his liberalism either but I don't think you can label him anti-American. The great thing about this country is that there are many shades of red, white, and blue. Let's not attack that.
And if he does get in there and make a mess of things, yeah, I think we'll survive. We're a pretty tough bunch.
Were you asleep when Bush ran this country into the ground, Sir Moron?
You didn't care when people started losing their jobs, their homes, or starving--when HE was President.
So why--all of a sudden--are you concerned about what Obama will do when he gets to the White House?
I hope we don't have to find out. McCain is a man of integrity and honor. He's a man who has proven over his extensive career to be prudent, moderate, and able to cross party lines to work for the good of America. Obama has proven nothing in the two short years he has been in the U.S. Senate.
For me, the choice is an obvious one. People using the good common sense God gave them will put more stock in what people have done than what they say they will do.
Wrong again, it's the Republicans who are running us into the ground. Our nation's greatness was built between, say, the mid 1930s to around 1970, when we got all those liberal reforms such as the New Deal.
Starting with Nixon those reform started to go away one by one.
We are still running on the prosperity provided to us by previous generations, but that is quickly running out.
