Can you bake gummy worms directly into cupcakes?
I'm wanting to make halloween cupcakes and I have seen all of the info regarding putting the gummy worms on AFTER the cup cakes are baked, but can you actually bake the gummy worm inside the cupcake?

No, the gummy worms will melt.
The gummy worms will melt in the oven, believe me I've tried it, but that doesn't mean the cupcakes came out bad. They actually tasted kind of alright, then they resolidified and the cupcakes tasted horrible. I wouldn't put them in, I would put them on top afterwards.
