The Tennessee Center for Policy Research found that Al Gore uses many times more electricity than the average American, conclusively demonstrating that climate change is a hoax.
According to a press release from the Nashville-based think tank, in the past year Mr. Gore’s home, located in Nashville’s upscale Belle Meade area, consumed 213,210 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity in 2007, enough to power 232 average American households for a month. This consumption level is sufficient to expose all of the claims made in his 2006 documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, as a sham.
“Al Gore is a hypocrite and a fraud when it comes to his commitment to the environment, judging by his home energy consumption.” said Drew Johnson, the TCPR’s president.
This is the second time that the TCPR has completely disproved the hypothesis that the burning of fossil fuels is disrupting the earth’s climate.
Update:The Tennessee Center for Policy Research is an independent, nonprofit and nonpartisan research organization committed to achieving a freer, more prosperous Tennessee through free market policy solutions.

Al Gore and Hollywood can use as much energy as they want, if they can afford it. Their high energy bills are not my problem. I do take issue with them and Uncle Al telling us to cut back, conserve: Or, pay a tax on some BS about a footprint, or a trading something like a carbon offset that is represented by a paper trail but no real product. These tend to blow up like the pyramid schemes that they are. Nothing is produced, but money is exchanged for an imaginary "thing."
And yet, it still doesn't solve the problem of dirty air or litter.
Miley-jo - Hypocrite and liar are most definitely NOT the same. If a Doctor tells a patient that he should quit smoking, yet the Doctor smokes that makes him a hypocrite it doesn't make him a liar. If, on the other hand, the Doctor smoked and wanting to justify his bad habit told his patient "you should start smoking because it's good for you", that would be a liar.
While you can debate or accuse all day long about how bad of a hypocrite Al Gore is or isn't, that doesn't change the truthfulness of most of his message which is solidly based on mountains of scientific evidence. Global warming is happening, it's caused primarily by human activities, and there will be adverse (to possibly quite severe) consequences over this and following centuries unless we start to address the problem.
It's a standard political misdirection for people to attack a messenger rather than address the message. The Tennessee Center for Policy Research is a fancy name for a political organization that doesn't like the message. Rather than discussing the message (which is valid) they attack an easy targeted messenger.
Personally, I don't give a hoot if Al Gore came out and publicly said "he personally doesn't believe in global warming, but saw it as a good chance to make money and become more famous". That wouldn't change the reality of global warming one iota or my conclusion, after years of study, that it's real.
Edit:
Non-profit does NOT mean the people who work there aren't paid. The head of the TCPR could be drawing a salary more than Al Gore made from google, and it could still be a non-profit organization.
A couple of things here, firstly thi sdoes not mean that the TCPR has 'completely disproved the hypothesis that the burning of fossil fuels is disrupting the earth’s climate' as stated. The Q is about Al Gore not fossil fuel and such findings if true show nothing of the sort.
Second thing, how would the TCPR know Mr Gore's usage, did they just go up and ask to read his meter?
Lastly, who funds this organisation and what is their goal?
Consider this compare the usage of L.A. to Al Gore. At one time L.A. was very nice it had orange groves, palm trees, street cars as in the type people got on and off the type with many seats in them the type with attachments to electrical wires. A place full of trains. Then highways were put in and smog and dying palm trees were the result. A hideous ugly sprawl. Consider this the amount of energy of oil using cars on highways is collosal. There are many Mansions and types like Al Gore's there. Also it can be said The N.S.A. or The Pentagon use a lot of energy with their computers and war ships use a lot of electricity with their computers.
al gore is scamming everyone. i will believe credible global warming evidence, but i haven't seen any, all what i've heard is puesdo science and politicallly charged banter from people standing to make a gain from it. if global warming is real, and if it is the cause of man, al gore may just go down in history as the biggest enemy of the global warming movement because his presentations are not based on good science, they are stretched, putting it mildly, and he is hypocritical in his own handling of the matter. his investments also show where the "truth" in global warming lie. when ever someone tries to tell me that they can tell the average temp of the entire earth has changed a fraction of a degree in 100 years, and that they are able to make this measurement, and this fraction of a degree will lead to our ultimate destruction, i'm done, this is crap, think about it.
why do the same people who buy this, think things like 911 was an inside job?
give good credible evidence and i'll jump on the band wagon with you, until then i'll light up another tire in my front lawn, just for kicks...
But his movie was a LIE ... He stole several sens from another movie ,and the ice melt was computer generated. Look at just how much Gore and the Left is costing USA.
He recently spent a bundle having his house remodeled to bring down his energy usage, but only after a great deal of publicity regarding his gluttonous energy usage.
George Bush, on the other hand, has a house that is extremely "green". He had it built that way from the start ~ no remodeling needed.
yay for non sequiturs!
Gore may be an As-hat, but that doesn't prove burning fossil fuels is not "disrupting the earth's[sic] climate"
not making against or in favor of climate change; just pointing out your bad logic.
You don´t like the message so what ??? kill the messenger?
grow up.
Al Gore might live like a hypocrit, that doesn´t make climate change any less real.
You are just having probably "guilt issues" as like many Americans you can not admit that you could have somehow a negative impact on the world.
Al Gore is a hypocrite if that is true about his usage.
