So I'm buying a camera for the wife and I narrowed the selection down to 2 cameras; Canon SD990 and Canon SD890. I don't know much about cameras but here are the DIFFERENCES in the stats. Which camera has an edge over the other? Most of these stats look like another language to me. Camera enthusiasts please give me some advice. Thanks in advance!

They both have their ups and downs, but from a technical standpoint 15mp is way to many to pack onto a little sensor and is going to result in more noise at higher ISO's, plus bigger file sizes that are not necessary.
