My 1997 Chrysler Sebring when it is not moving th battery slowly gets lower and lower and to the point that the light from hitting the break with cause the car to cut out the stereo. But is fine when driving. Signal lights can cause other lights to go dim as well. I don't think the battery is very good, could it just be I need a new battery?

Sounds like your alternator isn't putting out between 13.5 -14.2 volts at idle. Test the battery voltage with the engine running with a volt meter set @ 20 volts. If you've added an aftermarket amplifier for the radio, your alternator doesn't have enough amperage.
If it passes this test have a *battery load test done to see what the reserve amperage capacity is.
What country boy said but also, make sure your alternator belt isn't slipping at idle.
