I was recently having overheating problems. I also noticed that my idle would jump up and down while i was stopped. So i put close to a gallon of anti-freeze/coolant into the radiator. I am not having anymore over-heating problems, but now I have NO IDLE. If I slow the car down to stop at a stop sign or something, the thing nearly dies everytime. Any ideas??
Update:So its a vacuum leak? any solutions or advice you could offer.

You needed that much coolant, I suspect a warped or cracked head. There'll be low compression and probably water in the oil which evaporates as the engine gets warm, then goes through the PVC valve, diluting the fuel mixture. You can't run those engines overheated without risking a lot of damage- the least of which would be blowing a head gasket. I hope you had the engine running as you added coolant, if it was hot. Otherwise that engine is broken, too bad, toobad. If you put the coolant in when the engine cooled off, no harm in that.
