My wife will be having cataract surgery. Will her recently diagnosed cancer of the eyelid cause any problems? (It's the same eye). We were planning to have a consultation about her eyelid next week, but, it has ben postponed. My wife got dizzy last week and fell, breaking her left ankle.

The eyelid is not part of the orb (eye) but they do work together, I would ask both the physicians who will be treating her; even if the doctor who will be seeing her regarding the eyelid has not seen her yet, the doctor will know if there would be adverse consequences, or if they would be best for her to be treated in a certain order.
What cancer?? Saw that other question.. No.. Basal cell is pretty superficial cancer and can easily be frozen off.
