Every caucasian American comes from somewhere other than America originally. All the immigrants who came to this country brought their favorite foods from their home land. Over the years these foods became popular with every american, not just caucasians. People in America eat Spaghetti, Tacos, Pretzels, rice and any other food you can imagine which all originated in other countries. Any foods such as corn which originated in America were introduced by non caucasians. Technically I would say there is no such thing as caucasian-american cusine.
ETA- Upon further thought there might be some foods only white people will eat like that jello salad with the marshmallows in it.
I have to say, I laughed when I read your question. The United States is a VERY diverse nation. America is called the MELTING POT because there are people from everywhere around the world, they have different cultures, different customs, but when they come to America, they are one, one nation. There is NO particular RACE food. Race has nothing to do with food. There is a stigma on black folk that they like watermelon and fried chicken. Guess what? Caucasians do too. FOOD is based on REGION.
Green bean casserole, cranberry sauce or anything cranberry or turkey. Maybe macaroni salad and I'm not sure of potato salad. Hash brown potatoes. BBQ is ancient, but the sauces of regional BBQ are unique. Biscuits and white gravy. No doubt people can pick some of these and say they come from somewhere - EVERYTHING comes from somewhere. Those are pretty American.....
Traditional New England Boiled Dinner. Very similar to corned beef and cabbage. Vegetables can include small onions, turnips, and parsnips. Years ago, I was told that the broth that the dinner was cooked in was often served as a soup before the meal. Commercial 'corning' would not make it taste as good.
There are recipes that use a beef roast, or a boneless smoked ham piece for the meat. The ham would make a good broth for pea soup.
What the hell are you talking about? There's like nothing that's unique to white American food. I mean, even southern stuff is largely adapted from traditional African dishes.
