I've heard that children between the age of 2 to about maybe 6, seeing, feeling, or hearing spirits. I too have experienced it myself, but adults can't really sense them at all. Please share your stories. I'm curious.

On 9/11, my then 6 yr old grandson watched film of the towers burning on TV.
"Oh! Look at the angels!" he told us. We said we couldn't see them. "There are two of them." he said. He went up to the TV and pointed. "This one is showing people how to get out of the towers. And that one..." he pointed a little ways away "is showing people the way to go home."

The ability or sixth sense as it is called is in all of us in the beginning before you are taught how to think and learn. It a base survival instinct or maybe the language before words. It's scary and misunderstood by most people so it is scoffed upon and dismissed as fantasy. Eventually you are enveloped in a world that does not believe in such things and the power is lost. The time I remember the most was seeing a ball of light go from ground level towards the sky and vanish. I was with two others that saw it so I know it happened. I think it's a bit like radio waves and light frequencies. If you don't have a TV or radio that does not mean that the signals are not still in the air. Dogs and other animals can smell, hear and sense things we can not. It's good to keep an open mind I think or maybe I'm just crazy ;)
Children have that gift and do usually lose it by the time they are 5 or 6. My youngest daughter had an extra dose because she was raised in a haunted house. Since we never told her what she was seeing wasn't real she still sees spirits to this day and she is 19. I remember seeing and talking to "people" that weren't there when I was a kid, wish I could get it back. :)
I think little kids are just more open to paranormal activity. Later on in life we're told ghosts aren't real or that only crazy people hear or see things that aren't there. As adults come to believe that, they have less paranormal experiences.
I believe it was Sylvia Brown from the Montel Williams show who said that all children can see spirits (I think she refers to them as spirit guides) and they lose that ability once their parents discourage them enough by telling them it's their "imagination" or it "isn't real" or they just want "attention" On the show she says that you should encourage your child when he or she tells you about a spirit because it is a true gift.
My grandfather and I were close, after he died I told my mom it was taking too long for the angels to bring him back, I didn't understand he was gone permanently. Shortly before my birthday that year, I was 4, my parents gave me a little piano an early present. On my birthday, mom was helping me dress and the piano played several chords, my mom froze in fear, I looked up and said Hi Bapa smiling, by the time my mom turned around he was gone. Wish I could remember that.
I have witchcraft in my family but I have repented and now serve the Lord Jesus Christ. I have the authority to speak on this subject. These children have had a doorway opened to the spirit world through occultism like occult cartoons or books like Harry Potter f it doesn't take much for that doorway to be opened. OR there is a line of inheritance that means you can inherit the spirits from your relatives who are dabbling into the occult. This will open you up to spiritual activity. I know because I've been there. Fooling around with the spirit world is dangerous. I prefer the safety in Jesus Christ.
You know, i've heard that too, and if you notice, more than half of the "true ghost stories" you read on the internet happen when the writer was a child. I know there is research on the subject, as why ghosts or spirits are more attratced to children, because of their innocence.
