I'm Looking for a Civil War movie or documentary that can explain it. I'm try to find one from at least year 2000 to 2012.
Do not say The Civil War from Ken Burns, it's way to long. I know you can watch each episode separately.
I'm looking for on under 2hr and 40 minutes

In the sources you can see a link for movies based on the Civil War. Take in mind that some movies only occur during the Civil War so they're not necessarily a good source!
I would strongly recommend recent documentaries, one being Gettysburg from 2011 that History Channel made!
Another source has some of the movies above in a timeline!
I won't recommend Civil War from Ken Burns (only because you clearly don't want to watch it), but if you have time, do watch it!
If none of these movies suit you, then there are a great deal of books! Even diaries from soldiers and/or their families.
If you need any answer, just google-it! And if you have any questions, just ask!
The only reason I know anything about the Civil War is because I've read about, mainly through the internet but also reading books, some even that were written during the Civil War to get a deeper picture of how the war affected peoples' everyday life's!
Good luck, though!
the in effortless words different movie i'm conscious of to have Chamberlain became "Gods and Generals." you'd be extra likely to locate him in documentaries than videos. Oh, by the way he became better than a trifling college professor from Maine. Joshua Lawerence Chamberlain went on to change into Governor of Maine, he became elected 4 situations starting up in 1866. And after that he back to Bowdoin college the position he grew to change into president of the school. He became the Surveyor for the Port of Portland. I own a cutting-edge reproduction of his "Passing of the Armies" which tells the ultimate days of the conflict between the military of Northern Virginia and the military of the Potomac, in different words he became also an author. He became a founding member of the Maine company for the Blind. And he even tried re-enlisting for the Spanish-American conflict yet became rejected because of his age.
