New to classical music, been listening to Beethoven lately, one that particularly caught my fancy was Beethoven's moonlight sonata, think this is a beautiful piece, anyways, was wondering if anyone can suggest more music similar, in c minor, or anything dark. Seem to like the dark sounding ( guess its from my old goth days ) haha. Thanks/
Update:With me writing this at "daft o clock " in the morning i can get away with my wording error haha, sorry folks, bad wording by me, what i ment was... music that is similar to beethovens moonlight sonata....stuff that is in C minor. But i can see how it looks different. Thankyou for the excellent answers i wish i could give you all best answer.

Prokofiev ~ Piano Concerto No. 2 (G minor) ---here the first of its four movements.... dark, lustrous, gorgeous, and one of those infamously difficult pieces to play. Enjoy!

You like Beethoven, and you like the key of c minor?
The Pathetique Sonata, op. 13 comes to mind.
There is also his earlier sonata in c minor, op. 10 no. 1, which has been nicknamed the "Little Pathetique."
You might also be interested in the Mozart c minor sonata, K. 457, which is believed to have inspired Beethoven to write the Pathetique Sonata.
Beethoven wrote 32 Piano Sonatas in total - try listening to his No. 8 in C minor, Op. 13, commonly known as the 'Pathetique Sonata'.
Moonlight Sonata is C# Minor.
Chopin's C# Minor Nocturne is beautiful.
Actually this Moonlight sonata was written in C# minor.
Well, try Chopin's Impromtu Fantasie
