If it clearly read positive, then you're almost postively pregnant. However, if you wait longer than the time it says on the box to check the results, it can be a false positive. If you looked at it soon after peeing on the stick, then chances are really good you are pregnant.

Was your period late? I suggest buying one more test, and make sure it's a different brand. That way if you get a positive you can make your OB appt. If it's a neg, then you'll probably have to shell out more money for yet another test of a different brand. I have a feeling you'll only need to buy one more, though. :)

it is the rarist of rae to get a false positive pregnancy test. i used clear blue easy digital and got a PREGNANT. and i took a second one for te hell of it. these tests test for HcG which is only in your system when you are pregnant. it is a much much higher chance of having a false NOT PREGNANT. so congrats =]

That is the brand of test I used. And I am now 8 months pregnant.....It told me PREGNANT too. Don't think it was wrong. But I also took 3 of them just because it was unbelievable.

False positives are extremely rare. The odds are in your favor for sure! Congrats!

you should get more tests. because it's pretty shocking when you see that your pregnant an can't really believe it :)
