Basically, these are the same exact hold, right? With the exception of the fingers clutching under the chin or under the nose, is there any difference? If there is I don`t see it. Makes for kind of a boring match between two wrestlers that I have always loved watching. I love seeing both Slaughter and the Iron Sheik wrestle, just not against one another.....for that reason.

The Camel clutch puts more pressure on your back and neck, mainly back though, so its like a reversed Boston Crab.
The Cobra Clutch puts more pressure on the Arm, Neck, and Shoulder, Much like a triangle arm lock.
Cobra Clutch
The difference is:
-the camel clutch damages the upper back, and most of the time the chin or neck or both at the same time it depends how you lock on this submission hold, meaning your body position and your opponent's, it is also known as a backside chin lock.
-the cobra clutch is known to be as the "million dollar dream", it damages the neck and sometimes is considered to be a sleeper hold by using the arm of your opponent against him, it is also considered as half nelson submission lock.
The Cobra Clutch is standing up, and the Camel Clutch is sitting down. That's pretty different.
The Cobra Clutch is more like a sleeper hold.
yeah they are.
