I was lying in bed around 2 AM at night and I felt a presence in my bedroom. All the lights were off. I said outloud, "Is someone there?" and immediately after I said that, the motion sensor light from outside my window in the backyard turned on and flooded my bedroom with light. This has never happened before. If this wasn't paranormal, then what would have turned on my motion sensor light in an enclosed backyard at 2 AM? And why did it happen immediately after I asked that outloud? Is this just a simple coincidence, or is this a sign that a spirit was there?
Update:Honestly if that same thing happened to you and you didn't think anything of it, I would question YOUR judgment.

It could very well have been a sign. It was very likely your 6th sense is what picked up on the feeling of something there. When you know, you know. Why else would your hair stand on end and your mind go to the paranormal? Who wants to believe in that field if we didn't have to. The reality is there though. There are ghosts, demons and all sorts of unseen energies. Ghosts/ spirits are energy. They use a spiritual energy or black energy to move things. Energy is unseen but can have force.
How would you propose a "spirit", which by definition are non-physical, set off a motion sensor?
Sounds like you are a little prone to magical thinking and paranoia. Coupled with odd coincidences, this can lead to superstitious conclusions. But some rational thinking should set you straight. There are numerous reasons why the sensor light could be triggered, the very last would be something "paranormal".
Think "Occam's Razor": http://science.howstuffworks.com/innovation/scient...
You need some fence, if you are hoping to keep domestic cats out. It would have been a plain simple moggy looking for mice or a mate. Nothing to worry about. A guy across from me, has his light shining on my home, not deliberate, he simply never adjusted it properly. Every time a cat walks by, my bedroom lights up like a xmas tree. You have reminded me, I must have a word.
most likely a spirit about 99% of the time when your brain suspects someone watching you someone is coincidences have been said not real by a few scientists and the government does know and believe of the existence of spirits so it most likely a spirit with some scientific evidence that you are not hallucinating
Simple----likely someone or an animal, made a noise---"Feeling a presence " is so "subjective"---Anything might subconsciously evoke a "feeling"---Someone or something was there--hence the feeling.
About that time the animal, perhaps startled by your voice moved, triggering the automatic light.
Never assume "Ghosts" or whatever "paranormal" whenever there is ANY possibility of a prosaic explanation available.----Save the "paranormal" musings and considerations only for the MOST MYSTERIOUS of events.
Why would a spirit trigger the light? Animals do that frequently. Maybe an animal that was spooked by your voice.
Please remember that both spirits and animals can activate light sensors, and yes it could mean that a spirit cause that light to come on.............
