I have a Presario CQ5320F desktop computer. I was happy with it in all ways, except for the lack of a decent graphics card. Now, I'm not a huge computer person, never built one. It has a 250W PSU in it, and I want to add a GPU. How high of PSU would be necessary, and what sockets would be needed?
Update:Also, recommendations on both would be appreciated. Lowest VALUE preferred.

Unfortunately I can't find a photo of the inside of the computer case to help me determine what size video card will fit.
Here are my choices for you:

From the website for the video card you will find this: Card Dimensions 6.6" x 4.6" I suggest that you measure before ordering to make sure it will fit... and the modem card that they stuck in there, remove it and throw it away. That is worthless nowdays.
The video card does not require any addition power adapters to be plugged into the card but I do not believe your power supply of 250W will provide enough juice, running through the motherboard, to handle the card.
I chose a video card in the $75 to $100 range, those cheaper you will not be happy with and this card is rated the highest in reviews of the cards in the price range.
The power supply is a highly rated unit also and comes with a rebate.
Hope you find my recommendation to your liking.
