Computer files?
hello and i really dont know much about computer. today i sold my computer and there were alot of pictures and files of mine in it. but i took off the hard drive for that and i didnt sold the hard drive. so is there any way that they can recover my files without that hard drive ? or no i am safe ?

Everything from operating system to a picture of an adorable kitten is stored on the hard drive, no where else. Without the hard drive there is no way to recover any of that data so nothing to worry!
your files can be recovered even though you have formatted the hard drive.
if there is no sensitive data on the hard drive, then you don't need to worry about it.
also you can eraser files off the drive before selling it. partitionguru can wipe data permanently, so that files can't be recovered by any recovery software.
