computer internet connection problems?
ok so i wanna get on xbox live so i got this modem for my computer, in my room. its a 2wire one and i hooked every thing up, and i have every cord so idk why it won't connect. i think i no the password to get in but in not sure. is there any way to find out the password to get on the internet. please help idk what to do
Update:yes i have an xbox live account, i have played upstairs and hooked it up to my moms computer. she has a lynksis modem and i moved the xbox to my room. well i got a diffrent modem (a 2wire brand one) and it says i can hook it up to the internet, but idk the password. how can i change it or find it out

1st, are you hooking you cord directly to your router? not just your computer?
2nd. do you have an Xbox live account?
If its your internet then ask your parents, and then go to ebox then go to like internet or something and press settings and it will ask you for a code happend to me
