ok so i wanna get on xbox live so i got this modem for my computer, in my room. its a 2wire one and i hooked every thing up, and i have every cord so idk why it won't connect. i think i no the password to get in but in not sure. is there any way to find out the password to get on the internet. please help idk what to do

yes i have an xbox live account, i have played upstairs and hooked it up to my moms computer. she has a lynksis modem and i moved the xbox to my room. well i got a diffrent modem (a 2wire brand one) and it says i can hook it up to the internet, but idk the password. how can i change it or find it out
