Desktop computers are made for permanent location usage, but they offer more performance. A laptop is great for mobility and can sometimes have the same comparison to a desktop. If you want something that you can move around with you then a laptop would be the best way to go. Look into what you want the computer for. If using for games then a desktop would be best. If using for fun and personal work then a laptop would be great

Ive already got a desktop (bought it about 2 years ago) but since Im a full time student , I realized that I need a laptop so Im looking for one too. I didnt realize this till I went on campus and saw that everyone almost had on.

Get a lap top. It takes up far less space in you room than a desktop.

If you travel alot and need a computer then I would suggest the laptop. But if this is just for you're home so that you can have a computer, I would suggest a normal computer for your house. Whatever you think suits you best.

Laptop...hands down! The flexibility of being mobile is terrific. It's like having multiple computers because you can take it multiple places. Better bang for your buck. Certainly if he is nearing college age a laptop is perfect, he'll need a computer at school.

it dependes if you have room hove a computer get the computer ifyou dont get the laptop but my self i would get a lap top
