Take it back to the store you purchased it from.
Hi there.
When did u start noticing it buzzing? If it was the first time you used your computer, it's normal, it's the sound of electricitry running thru your psu. If it started recently, then your psu may be going bad, why, can be many reasons. A psu going bad may damage your motherboard, and is a good idea to change it right away.
P.S. Make sure the buzzing is not from the fan, as that's normal as well. Also, having a psu serviced is up to you. Normally, since the price of them is so dirt cheap nowadays, it's usually easier and hasslefree to just buy a new/better one. If yours is just a regular psu and not your own personal choice upgrade and didn't come with the computer originally.
Hope this helps
It could be the fan on the power supply. If it's only 11 months old, then it should still be under warranty - unless you bought it 2nd hand. If it IS still under warranty, have it serviced.
IF the problem is the power supply, then I do not think it can/will damage your motherboard.
Hope this helps.
EITHER HAVE IT LOOKED AT UNDER WARRENTY OR YOU CAN BUT A GOOD REPLACEMENT ONLINE AT SAT NEWEGG.COM FOR PRETTY GOOD PRICE , I BOUGHT A 500W PSU FOR LIKE $40 LAST WEEK 5 YR WARRENTY
Check the fan!
Not now, but when it does 'pop' it may do, so better change it fast.
