It sounds like a memory problem. Every time you open a new application it gets loaded into memory and stays there until you turn your computer off or restart. Once memory fills up, it starts to use your hard drive to page memory.

You can try these things to diagnose.

When the problem starts happening, check your task manager and see how much of your memory is being used.

>> CTRL+ALT+DEL, Task Manager, Performance.

This will indicate the usage.

If it is using up your entire (or close to) your memory, then try to increase your virtual memory by doing the following:

>> Start, Control Panel, System, Advanced, click on Settings in the Performance section. Advanced, Change. Try doubling the amounts listed there. If it is 2046/4092 then change it to 4092/8184

This will not entirely solve your problem but it will increase performance.

Scan your memory by using memtest86. This program will indicate if you are having memory leaks and other issues with your ram. Visit http://www.memtest86.com/ to download the program.

If you it does show errors then you should contact your manufacturer for warranty replacement or purchase a new if it's out of warranty.

You're running out of ram. Buy more or quit opening so many windows.

you don't have enough RAM or random access memory, you might look at buying another graphic card, preferibly one that isnt integraded so you can save ram. You also might want to stop opening so many windows.
