Hard to tell what you are asking for here. 2/3 of the people pursuing a Computer Science Programming major end up transferring into other majors because it is so difficult. Also, a lot of Computer Science major programs include advanced math classes and this makes these programs very difficult.
Another thing about Programmers is that intelligence alone does not guarantee success. It seems Programmers are born and not made - it is a matter of natural gifting and not learning. All the Programming classes in the world will not make you good at it if you are not so gifted.
As far as personal qualifications to be a good programmer I asked several of the top programmers (both men and women) where I work what characteristics they saw as common elements for successful programmers. Here are their thoughts:
Musical talent
Detail oriented
Thinks in terms of modules steps or sequencing
Math is important – but even more logic
A talent in building physical things like (As a kid maybe Legos)
You might have a messy desk but you can easily find things on it
