Alright, so I received a computer(one he'd built himself) from a friend of mine, and he told me that everything was put in place, and all that I needed was to put in a Graphics card, a power supply, and a Harddrive. I'm not the best versed in computers, but I knew enough to plug everything in, Although, I've never actually installed a Hard drive before, so it could be possible the cords are damaged? I mean there wasn't much for me to mess up, it's a two way cord, one goes into the drive port, the other goes into the MB. I also don't even know if I have an OS installed. Anyway, I'm not really sure what to do from here. Any help would be adored. I took a photo of the BIOS information I thought would be useful with my phone,, if it can help in anyway. I'd have asked my friend, but I'd been unable to contact him.
Harddrive is a Seagate SATA 500GB
MB is an ASUS, I don't know the model number I'm afraid though.
If there is anymore information you'd like me to provide, I'll do my best too.

The hard drive requires two cords, the SATA which you have done that connects the HDD to the Motherboard and also a SATA power cord from the powersupply.
I would like to point out that you are in the CPU settings in the BIOS so the picture doesn't show me anything.
Hope this helps.
