I just transferred my hard drive from my old computer to one that I built recently and when I boot up Windows 7 it gives me the blue screen of death if I'm not mistaken. When this happens, the blue screen comes up and then disappears so quickly that I can't see what it says and then the computer restarts. I also have an Ubuntu/Windows 7 dual boot setup on this hard drive and I can boot Ubuntu just fine(I'm actually on Ubuntu right now). Any ideas on what might be causing this?

You havd to reinstall Windows. There are a lot of registry keys and such tied to that model of motherboard. In addition, if your original computer was an OEM computer, then odds are that the license is going to be tied to that machine and odds are also good that its Windows will only install on a computer with that brand of motherboard.
