I would like to know if the is anything that may be causing my constant adverse reaction to multiple drugs. During the past two years I've experienced the side effects of over three different and unrelated medication. Fist it was Singulair, it made me feel a really bad case of vertigo, secondly it was a proton bomb inhibitor named Omeprazole (made me really nauseous among other things. My doctor did the investigation and he discovered it was the medication, then it was an antidepressant named Abilify (I took it right before bed and woke up four hours later feeling lightheaded and feeling full and nauseous I was like that for two hours and my mom took me to a nearby hospital. I was there for hours and after that time I vomited every content in my stomach which consisted of various types of medication to stop nausea and gas. Then the lastesr case was and adverse reaction to the antihistamine called Zirtec. The weird thing is that is was CHILDREN'S Zirtec, I took it right
before bed and woke up four and a half hours later having a really bad case of vertigo. I felt like my words was spining around me if I moved my head. It was horrible. I really don't think all this is coincide so I would like to know if the can be something causing me to react like this.

Well, there are genes that can affect how sensitive your body is to multiple medications because they change the way your body filters out medications. If you have kidney or liver disease, that can also cause hypersensitivity to multiple medications.
I recommend that in the future you start with really small doses of most medications. If you've never been screened for kidney and liver disease, you should be.
And btw, it's a proton PUMP inhibitor, not a proton bomb inhibitor.
