Contributions to presidential/political campaigns?
Do you have to be an american citizen to contribute to a political campaign, say for example: Person A contributes money to Obama's campaign, but he is from Gaza. Would that be legal?
No. It's also illegal for corporations to directly contribute money, so they form PACs (Political Action Committees), which essentially coarse employees of the company to donate instead. Obama has taken a sh*tload of PAC money. Look it up. Furthermore, I'm sure there are ways around the foreign contribution laws as well.
