Convincing my dad?.....?
So my friends invited me to the mall, the 4 of us, including me. The problem is my dad never lets me do anything at all. But we are all going to different schools next year. So I won't see them as much. How can I convince my dad to let me go, just for a couple of hours? I really want to go, I havnt seen them all summer. I've just texted them. So help?

How old are you? This makes a big difference.
If you are 12 or older I would give him as many details as possible. Who will be driving, what entrance you will be going into, the names of everyone there. If you have a phone with you, let him know that you will text him on the hour each hour. Ask him to give you a chance to prove to him that you are responsible.
If he allows you to go, keep your word so that he will let you go again.
Oh, and tell him that you appreciate that fact that he is protective of you and that makes you want to live up to his expectations and make him proud of you. (but put it in your own words)
If he sees you are trying to see things from his perspective as a parent he is more likely to let you go.
Say that you're going to different schools so it will be one last time to hang out and mention that you haven't seen them for a while.
give your dad all your friends mobile number, so in case you went home late, he can still call your friend on where are you
