Angela Davis has a point. Corporations exist to make money. It is a governments responsibility to protect it's citizens ie it's consumers and employees. The balance is in allowing the business enough breathing room to do business and make money but not to the point where the business runs a muck and screws the whole economy over. This is where Bush and the Republicans come in. Their staunch philosophy of deregulation and little to no government interference is the cause of the catastrophe we are currently in. And what is ironic is that their philosophy has resulted in the exact opposite: government interference!!! That is why it behooves us all to vote Democrat this up coming election. We need a correction big time and the cons are to greedy to allow it to happen the way it needs to.
