I have to send an email to my manager saying that I will take half day leave to office on Thursday from afternoon 1 PM and full day leave on Friday. Can anyone help me to put it in a sentence in good way..

you should state why. Managers dont generally like their employees TELLING THEM that for no stated reason they will be taking a half a day off.
