A belief that we are so insignificant in the universe and such a small part of the universe as a whole that there is no way we have a meaning for being here or that there is a god. Thoughts on this? I guess it's sort of right, I mean imagine if you were to travel across the universe and find another living species out there, do you think they ever even heard of god or any organized religion?

There is a theory that posits a cogental evolution taking place in other parts of the universe. What this means is that it's possible that there are other worlds out there & that they have what we do, only on a different time line, but relative to our own here on earth, in the Milky Way Galaxy. That said; yes, I think it's possible that other worlds exist with their own monotheistic or polytheistic religions, as well as worlds where science is trusted to explain all things. We may be a small part of the universe, but I think that we are a long way from being as insignificant as Cosmicism implies. At one time the earth was viewed as a gigantic place worthy of awe, respect & fear, until her mysteries were explored and humanity discovered that earth wasn't so big afterall, but still worthy of our respect.
The vastness of the universe is part and parcel to the fine-tuning for life here.
The vastness of the universe no more proves man's insignificance than the vastness of the oceans proves it.
I have no idea if the lack of awareness of God or religion for any other living species in the cosmos would have any impact on our belief. To be honest, I think we'd likely conclude that ET species to be inept.
