I received a Christmas Card last year that had a whole family in an 'acrobatic type' pose decorating their Christmas tree. They
looked like circus performers - it was really cool. There's no
way this was really what they were doing and I know they
probably had it photo shopped or custom made. Does anyone
know of where to go to get things like this done? Is it very expensive? Thanks.

Check out http://www.mirbit.com/
If you go into the 'dragz' section, it allows you to upload your own photo and then customize it with Christmas frames, holiday objects, text, etc.
You can then print it as a traditional greeting card, email it, or save it to your computer.
The 'cardz' section lets you choose from a bunch of premade cards that you can customize with your own text and then print or email.
Hope that helps!
A great place to find custom made cards for the holidays is:
www.nohasslecards.com
However, you should access the site from internet explorer where it's fully functional. These are Christmas post cards, so they're easy to send and you can buy an assortment pack for a good price. I hope you like/this helps rather, enjoy...

Use CropMom, the online digital scrapbook site at http://www.cropmom.com/ to create your own greeting card. It can also be used to make digital scrapbook pages using your photos. It's free to register and use. Just register, sign in then upload your photos.
Click Get Started, then click "new layout" to start making your greeting card. Pick the 5" by 7" size because that's ideal for a card. Drag and drop your photo onto the canvas. Then drag and drop any of CropMom's scrapbook graphics onto the cavnas. You can add your own text by clicking the "add text" image button under Editing Tools.
Save your layout. You can save the low-resolution JPEG file of your layout to your computer for free. Use this to e-mail to friends or post on your Web site. Or you can simply click on "share" above your layout and enter your friend's e-mail address. It will be sent to your friend.
If you want to print your layout, you can purchase the high-resolution JPEG file of your card for a small fee. Once you have the JPEG file, you can print your greeting card at home or having it printed by a photofinisher.

I made Christmas cards using this and sent them to all my friends. They emailed back saying that they'd laughed soooo hard. =)
