dell computer wont load windows xp?
when i start up computer it tries to load normamly then goes to the start in safe mode screen..once i start in any of the options i get a blue screen that says.....a problem been detected and windows has been shut down etc.etc.
it also says check for hard drive corruption run CHKDSK/F
any ideas?
Update:tried to restore to a earlier settings..didnt work.
tried to reinstall windows but that dont work either.

Corrupt system file or Virus
Go into your recovery center (should show which F key to hit while loading up) and try system restoring to an earlier date (factory default of none of the restore dates work WARNING!!! this will wipe all of your data/updates, it brings the computer back to day 1)
I would try doing as recommended. Unfortunately you need a Windows disc. If you have one then boot from the disc, choose the Recovery Console option then run chkdsk /f .
