People are overrating Rajon Rondo so much it's ridiculous. I mean come on, Rondo has a great cast all around who can spread the floor so its much easier for him to look more like a complete point guard then D-rose who a decent cast on his team. Rajon Rondo isn't one of those players who you ask at the end of games to go get them a bucket when they struggle to get one, while on the other hand Derrick Rose is the guy who they want to score the ball come crunch time. Give me a break Rondo fans, saying Rondo is better then Derrick Rose is like saying Chris frickin Duhon is better then Rose because Duhon plays like a true point guard. IMO this is how i see it, if you're basing off whose better according to whose more of a true point guard then yeah, its Rondo no doubt. But if you are comparing them to see who the overall better player is between them then it's no doubt D-Rose.

Pros:
makes the players around him better while dishing out assists, has good court vision and doesn't make that many turnovers, and tons of hustle and snags down a bunch of rebounds for being a point guard.
Cons: Horrible horrible shooter which puts pressure on the rest of the team.
Derrick Rose
Pros:
Very athletic in getting to the rim and is a good freethrow shooter and mid-range shooter
Cons:
Turns the ball over too much, defense is weak and poor 3-point shooting
Answer: I think for now, Rondo is the better player, but in a year or even shorter I think Rose will come out on top with his talent.
