Hi there, I'm writing a debate for Ethics class, and I'm confused on the topic of racial profiling..has it changed since 9/11? Worsened? Why is it beneficial? Why is it harmful?
Thank you so much, in advance!

Racial profiling of Muslims is going on right now in New York.
Police are monitoring Mosques and other places where Muslims
congregate. They fear there is a small element of Muslims that
are inclined to be terrorists. For more information on this topic
just research on the internet. (Profiling of Muslims after 9/11)
Muslim is a religion, not a race. They were not all born with a certain skin color. There should be ''muslim religion'' profiling. After 9/11 how could it be wrong? This religion is violent, and muslims need to be profiled, maybe not in their country, but definitely in the west. I've heard of only one incident where the NYPD were profiling a small group of muslims, with good reason. Read the koran sometime, you'll understand then, why this religion should be against the law.
Yep, it increased. And rightfully so. It is beneficial because it is at least an attempt to shut down lunatic Muslims before they can harm anyone. It increases THEIR awareness of the fact they are being watched and forces them to reconsider hostile actions.
No Islam. Know peace!
