(z^2-4)/z÷z+2/(z+7)
I'm a bit unclear as to your order of operations... do you mean
(z^2-4) / (z/z) + 2/(z+7) ?
or did you mean
( (z^2-4)/z )/z + 2/(z+7) ?
or something else entirely?
If you meant the first one, the z's in the denominator cancel, leaving z^2 - 4 + 2/(z+7)
If you meant the second, the z's combine, leaving 1 - 4/z^2 + 2/(z+7)
If you meant something else, please edit your question and I will edit the answer.
(z^2-4)/z÷z+2/(z+7)=
(z-2)(z+2)/z
---------------- =
(z+2)/(z+7)
(z-2)
-------
z(z+7)
