I recently got a used 35mm canon film camara as a gift and a 75-150mm lense. but it wont fit... are there different fitting sizes for lenses if so is there a piece that can make mine fit into the canon?
Most cameras have proprietary lenses that only fit their type of camera, but there is a secret:
The secret is you can purchase an adapter to make most lenses fit most cameras. At a 'slight' additional cost! Take your equipment into a respected camera store.
They do not all fit - there are MANY different ones. Some lenses were made as a sort of two piece thing with a main lens and a camera specific adapter - but not many and not any that are worth the effort and cost of finding and changing the adapter.
I am not familiar with an adapter that will adapt different base lenses. Add on lens and filters can use adapters for example an amateur camera is usually 49mm end, well say you find a filter that is really nice but 52mm, you just need the adapter 49 to 52mm. If you end up needing a new lens I bet you can get cheap film camera lens for that specific model cheap on eBay.
do no longer trouble approximately procuring a sparkling Canon. they're expert grade and you're able to have the skill to locate a stable used one from a close-by digicam shop (which could stand at the back of the digicam till you could examine it out). stick to a EOS digicam and you would be in stable shape. it is recommended to purchase a great attitude (20mm for landscapes) or a telephoto (2 hundred or 300mm for activities and flora and fauna) based upon what you want to shoot.
