yes, amazingly they can but it should not last long. Sometimes after birth babies have a small amount of lactation, I believe called Galactorrhea. It has to do with hormones released in the mother right before birth.
obviously if your baby is lactating, obtain confirmation from your pediatrician that the fluid is from lactation and not caused by an infection.
Its normal lol. Just caused from the moms hormones and it will go way eventually. My brothers son had the same thing and he was the one to discover it and he freaked out lol. Also sometimes baby girls bleed like they were having a period. Also caused from hormones leftover from mom. Also i think my nephew was a full 2 months old or older before it went away. But any time you are concerned about something ask the doctor better to be safe than sorry.
yes this is totally normal sweet, your hormones will still be running through the baby from when he was in your womb, and the fact that you are breastfeeding as well, well your hormones are passing through into your son. dont get worried this is totally normal whinni, i know its hard not to worry about your little man but he'll be fine the same happened to me daughter and it did,t stp till she was bout 7.5 weeks old. congrats on the birth of your precious little boy....x
