at home i have a bunny . two in fact they live in the house with all the other animals . rabbits only bite when they are tasting you or scared which is a sharp nip or you have scared them or annoyed them which can be a proper bite and can draw blood .
carefull and regular handing can overcome this problem and the more you caress ,strok,e pet, brush and speak to your bunny the closer you will become and there less chance of an unexpected bite .
rabbits lunge in a warning often before administering a bite if they are not being held. this would be a sign to move back.
and when they stomp their back feet it is a warning to their buddies it is bunny saying that there is iminent danger close by and the end of the world is nigh in bunnies eyes .
i have been bitten twice ever by one of my rabbits and never by the other. a sign of success will be when your bunny licks you . that is bunny love
i had bunnies before and well they don't really bite they just lick. They're one of the most gentle creature on earth. based on my experience with bunnies, they only bite when they're hungry or the scent of your hand makes them think of food.
