Hey! I have been working out I my elliptical machine for a week now and it says I have lost 3,445 calories. I want to lose a few pounds (I know 3,500 calories = a pound.) I was just wondering if the elliptical actually helps lose weight? Or does it just say it does. I read on a website It doesn't, but they could be wrong. Please no rude comments. Thank you!! : )

Elipitical machines do help in loosing weight! they are a cardio machine just like any other but the intensity of the cardio is what you make it. If your doing a low or no resistance your not doing as much as setting a resistance and keeping up your endurance the whole time. More resistance means harder cardio which equals better workout! keep up the good work though! The eliptical is better on joints and ligaments also which is a plus but going outside for a run is some of the best cardio you can do! :D

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Operate the 20 minute rule. Eat your own portion-controlled meal then, even if you're hungry afterwards, wait for 20 minutes and discover if you still do. Nine times away from 10, you won’t. If you choose to do, eat 10 per cent more.
I was shy, I didn't want to be the centre of attention, I didn't like getting my picture taken. Yes, I had to speak in public, and that was because it was for my job. So I would get up there and I would speak, .but I really didn't want anyone to really be looking at me.
Since I've lost my weight, it's more like look at me, look what I've done. And I feel good about myself. I bought a new wardrobe. I get up there, I speak in front of people, and it's fantastic. It's the best thing I've ever done in my life.
