I wanted to go parasailing and i was wondering if it hurt when the parachute caught air and i jerks you back. I don't know if it would tighten and hurt. Please give me a thorough answer. Thank You.
Well... I would think it would hurt a lot more if the parachute did *not* catch air and open! Kidding aside, best to ask the instructors at the jump zone. They will get you prepared and make sure nothing gets hurt. They want repeat customers! Best, Rick
The only way it's going to hurt is if you tuck 'something' under the harness. It will not only hurt, it may crush 'something'. And once your full body weight is on it there is not a blessed thing you can do about it until you land. Strongly recommend that you wear the jockey shorts or an athletic support.
I've had a different experience as I am a girl. I was scared I would fall out or something so I had it so tight that it was almost cutting off my blood circulation, you can only tighten them manually so when it jerks you'll just move.
