Back home in San Diego(The Promised Land) there was a case of a Marine that was poisoned. His beautiful Wife collected $400k from insurance. After she collected the money she went out and partied, go breast implants and all sorts of stuff. She went to trial and was found guilty. I do believe that she killed him, but at the same time, maybe she had nothing to do with it, but was still happy that he died. There's lots of people in my life that I want dead, and would celebrate if they died.

Jurors are only supposed to take into account the evidence that is presented to them during the trial. But, they are also human and can rule with emotions.
Jurors take into account everything. I'm from San Diego and I have read of many accounts where the husband is found dead and the wife is happy and the coincidence is in all the cases the insurance money was the factor.
jurors take into account everything. true, there are coincidences. but in the case of the Marine, there was probably enough evidence by the prosecution to prove that she was guilty, and that is was not just a "coincidence".
"Do jurors take into account coincidence?" - Ideally they only take in to account the evidence presented.
