Do men appreciate educated women?

If she's near her mid 20's and is in nursing school or med school - good thing? bad thing?

(It's a great accomplishment - i'm very happy about it. I feel that sometimes when i tell guys they get scared/intimidated or think, "oh she's in nursing school...don't wanna get in the way of that". OR they looove the idea in the beginning but later on, it freaks them out..."oh you're gonna be a nurse, you're educated. I just work." You would think they would be happy and super supportive, right? But instead, all you goals/dreams allow them to become insecure when it's not even your fault.)

Update:

Yeah, my ex just finished high school and has been working since. He "loved" that i was educated but felt bad about himself. I didn't care about that status but I guess he did...hence, he's my ex. I never rubbed it in his face but for future reference, I don't want to feel bad (or have a guy feel insecure) just bc i have goals....
