I would say it depends on the rapist and his/her typical MO. There are pros and cons for both.

On one hand, more gun control might make it more difficult for a rapist to obtain a gun and thus make it easier for a victim to escape.

On the other hand, more gun control might also make it more difficult for a potential victim to obtain a gun, thus potentially making them more vulnerable.

So while it may take away the ease with which the rapist obtains a weapon with which to threaten a victim, it also makes it less likely that said victim is armed with a gun.

I'd say they want less gun control, because it would be easier for them to rape the victim. However, I don't think they're concerned about political issues, since their mental problems would damage their cognition and intelect

I would prefer to see a woman get her gun and kill her assailant like George Zimmerman.
