Do tattoo parlors do ear lobe piercings?
My family is convinced that I should just go to the mall and get it pierced with a gun but I don't want to because I had a bad experience and they messed it up once, so I don't want to go back. But they all did it there and nothing happened to them. I guess I just got unlucky but still won't a tattoo parlor use a needle? And isn't a needle supposed to be better? And if they're working there I would think they'd have alot more experience than people at the booths in the mall. But they're telling me they use guns too, and they only use needles for other piercings, and that some don't do ear piercings at all. What should I do?

Most ink parlors that do other piercings will do lobe piercings also. I personally prefer the needle to the gun. But it really depends on who you go to as to what they use. All people are different. But I also wouldn't stress over the mall. I understand you had a bad experience but the chances of something like that happening again are very slim. This is not something that occurs often. So you really shouldn't worry at all!
Just walk in to a tattoo place and ask them. They're all usually really friendly people and wouldn't mind letting you know if they do and how they go through with it. Good luck to you!
