Do women feel safe in public?
This question is to women only please.
Do you women feel safe in public areas? such as streets, park, beach, etc.. If not what are some of the dangers you encounter? Also why is it difficult being a women IN PUBLIC?

I live in a city and I feel relatively safe. Besides that, I am very capable of defending myself. Of course it also varies depending on what part of the city I'm in. We have areas where the crime rate is much higher (5 murders in my city in the last month). In those areas, I wouldn't feel safe--even if I was carrying my Glock.
In general, most violent crimes involve people who are using drugs, drinking excessively, or are involved in other illegal stuff. I don't hang around people like that.
I feel safe.
But then again I am also very careful. Most men don't want to hurt me, or want to be creepy, but there are the few that would want to. Sometimes weirdos talk to me,but I snub them. I snub a lot of weird guys that want to talk to me.
I'm an introvert and sometimes being reserved/quiet can really come in handy.
I don't talk to people anyway. I just ignore them.
With a face like mine dear I'm as safe as houses. The only difficulty I experience is young children who poke me to see if I'm real.
