YES. Sometimes I feel a little "drained" but that's the way I am. I'd do almost "anything" for a friend--however, if they "blew it" & there's no resolution, all I can do is reinforce/help by listening, & not "assuming" I know the answers. Also, no JUDGEMENTS. Just "being there" means a lot. Plus--it needs to work both ways, otherwise you are THEIR friend, & they are not YOURS. Mutuality is the operative word.
