The problem is few people know how to take a good picture. Anyone can take a picture of a super model and it will look OK but for average people we need all the help we can get. Lighting is important. A good night sleep helps too. And you should lay off the pot for a while. ;)

The ones that I bounce flash into a white card stick-tacked at 45 degrees at 100 1.8 250 17 times until I find just the right expression, I do look nice enough. However I look like hell when someone shoves a 28mm up my nose with auto flash at 1/15 16 800. Once and runs away.

The dirty secret to photography is take a lot of pictures. you can pull something off with a pocket cam in your bedroom. With few youtube tutorials and some patience you can get a decent pic. I hate it when people take one and stop. 3 minimum. Quite a lot it is the first one I took that works out. But others it's the 13th of 27. If i stopped at one I would not have gotten the shot. Today it took 23 tests to get everything right before the fake blood even came in (don't ask). Then 48 were on the card at the end of the day.

If I take my photos and edit the heck out of them - I look good :)

I think I look bad when other people take pictures of me - I know how you feel. I think we all should relax - none seems to care but us! Seriously! you can ask anyone around and they will tell you that you look just fine!

anyways - it's a bad complex - by the end of the day, you miss out of being in some good shots :(

I look horrible in photos.

I have avoided photos for years because of it.

I am now taking a photo of myself every day for the next year as a personal art project.

But I think them so awful I refuse to put them on my website.

I am hoping at the end of a year to be less mental about it...lol!

i personaly look good in photos. don't worry your normal:) some people just dont look good in pictures i know many people who dont loook the best in pics! but i bet you look fine you just need to fine a good angle! most of the time strait at the face pics are akward try new angles
