However they can be used for making certain armour
Go into items>inventory and look at the bottom of your screen it should say somewhere about you weight allowance and your current and your actuall items will tell you how much that item weighs
If you need gold in the early parts of the game sell them (especially if you're not cheating... Skyrim has a lot of bugs and glitches if not updated.) Like someone else said they are used to create Dragon Armor, which is second best in game. Since Smithing is rather easy to level (lots and lots of iron daggers) you might be better off storing them in a house or somewhere safe for later use.
You'll be using Dragon Armor up until Daedric. You need Daedra Hearts to craft Daedric Armor and they are fairly rare.
These are two sites that offer good in-depth information on this game. Hope this helps.
No u don't need them and you can sell them for a decent amount of money and Dragons are easy to come by the only reason you would need them is if you were making dragon armor
not at all. You may use them later for smithing, but assuming your at a low level, that wont be for quite some time. If your smithing ever does become efficient enough for dragon armor, you can just find another dragon, they become VERY common as the story progresses. I had the same problem with getting rid of my first dragon remains, but as I found out more I realized how unessesary they really are and just dropped them. hope this helps.
for future reference, If there is an important Item inn your inventory, it wont let you drop it if it's quest related.
you need them for armor which comes very handy later
just buy a house in whiterun for 5,000 by talking to the bald guy in dragon reach and store them in your house its ok to sell a few bones i think but over all they do come in handy because you need al ot for the armor
