I normally grow my own but find I have to peel them because they get little sharp bits on them. I think the smaller the cucumber the skin isn't so bitter. I like mine peeled.

No they arent bad for u. They are edible but people peel them because they dont like the taste. U can peel them but if u dont mind the taste, why bother?
