No, because amnesty is giving out like “drinking water” with no real valid reason to do so other than it will save time and money in the eyes of the government. If the government did its job in the first place then there would be no 20 million illegal immigrants.

Ask any government official for a valid reason for amnesty and he or she will give you a spin answer.

I do not support amnesty in any way, shape or form. Granting amnesty is an admission of failure by the Government because it cannot enforce its own laws. Barbarian invasions must be repelled otherwise we will fall into another era similar to the dark ages. If you want civilization to fall three steps behind then go ahead and support amnesty but do open your eyes and take a lesson from the Roman Empire, it took over a thousand years for civilization to recover from the the damage that was inflicted by the barbarian hordes that invaded but did not assimilate. They too wanted a better life. The illegals are not assimilating they are colonizing and they are marking there territory with spray paint everywhere. Graffiti does not keep America beautiful it is nothing more then third world filth. If we do not enforce our laws then we will be doomed to becoming a footnote in history much like Atlantis.

Only for a few of the best of the illegal aliens; the young ones who were brought into the USA by their parents. IF they stayed out of trouble, learned English and got good grades in High School, then I would offer them amnesty in exchange for making being in the USA illegally a federal crime. Right now it is not a crime for aliens to overstay their visas. If it were made a crime, we could fine them, jail them, and then deport them after selling their assets to pay the fine.

Politics is the art of compromise. We would make more progress ridding our country of illegals under my plan, and the best young illegal aliens could become citizens.

No. I agree, illegal is illegal. Many millions wait for approval to come to this country legally. To allow illegals to "jump the line" is wrong and simply encourages others to do the same thing.

We can prevent illegal immigration if we have the will and dedicate the staff to do so. But, follow the money. Who gets the benefit of illegal immigration? Meat processors who pay below fair wage, the agriculture industry and building trades? Why, for 8 years, did Bush ignore the problem?

FYI - there are a set of requirements to be met in order to qualify. Not ALL illegals in the US get Amnesty just because they are already here. Amnesty was created for a good reason, and that's to allow the immigrants to continue with helping move this country.

I would support it under the conditions that they have some sort of teeth straightening, english learning, sterilization program that was mandatory to every illegal.
